Apologies are in order.
Sorry for not posting anything for the past week(s). I've been stuck at university with no camera and no creativity :( - Although I think I'm just making up these excuses for my lack of motivation >_<
ANYWAY... We're welcoming Spring with this Winter-ish Spring-ish outfit of the day, which I practically also wore as the day turned into night (Y)
Top: Ebay
Trousers: Uniqlo
Blazer: Nasty Gal
Anorak: North Face
Boots: Jeffrey Campbell
Bag: MCM
Lipstick: Mac's Ruby Woo
The flowery top I'm wearing is a chiffon shirt from Ebay :) I think this top just classifies my outfit as a "spring" look because of the floral pattern - although it's not exactly floral but more of green branches with robins and other birds (I don't own any pastels or "spring-ey" type clothing)
The trousers that I'm wearing are my usual Uniqlo legging trousers - what a surprise. These are my favourite trousers because they're so comfortable and versatile!
I'm also wearing my favourite Nasty Gal blazer, perfect for the transition into Spring. Moreover, since it's London and it's still cold outside, I wore my North Face Waterproof Anorak over my blazer
On my feet I'm wearing my trusty Jeffrey Campbell Everlys and I'm carrying my new MCM Nuovo L Tote in Small bag. The Everlys are very comfortable but the only thing that I don't like about them is the amount of noise they make when I'm walking because of the buckles. Regarding my bag, it was definitely a spontaneous splurge but I don't regret it because I love it to pieces! The bag just makes a whole outfit look chic and sophisticated and it's just so beautiful *_*
I decided to post an OOTD today because I went to a free (I had to pay a £1 deposit) Makeover and Photoshoot experience at Broadway Studios in Wimbledon, London.
Overall, it was an alright experience, which I don't think I'll ever do again. The makeup was alright, it was the typical look I normally go for, whilst my hair was better than I expected it to be.
The photoshoot was definitely cringey and out of my comfort zone. Nevertheless, the minority of the pictures turned out well and they were edited alright.
We did have to wait for over an hour for them to produce the pictures and in the end, I only bought one (for £35 + £8 p&p) and got another for free.
We spent approximately 4 hours there; 20 mins waiting for hair and makeup, 20 mins +/- doing hair and makeup, around 1 hour +/- for the photoshoot (they took 78 photos), 1 hour +/- waiting to see the photos and 15 mins looking, choosing and paying for the photos.
If the whole experience wasn't "free" I wouldn't have gone but it was a good memory nonetheless.
Thanks for stopping by!!!
