Ladurée

Quick refuel at Laduree but definitely coming back for longer!

Despite it's small size, the Laduree branch in covent gardens is just the cutest.
We decided to sit on the terrace and passing through the interior of the cafe, it is actually so pretty inside. I would definitely come back for afternoon tea and sit inside because the instagram opportunities!
The terrace was alright, just slightly cramped. Nevertheless, I still had a wonderful experience, with very good customer service. Our server was very nice and ensured we were content with our orders and our time at the cafe.
We were seated near the door, so we couldn't see the views of Covent Gardens, but you could still definitely feel the lively vibe of the area.

Drinks wise, I ordered the Ice Tea Jasmine. I'd say the tea was nice and was definitely a thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

I ordered "Le pain perdu tiede Laduree", which is described as Laduree's warm French toast served with maple syrup, jam or Chantilly cream.
The french toast was amazing! The texture and the taste was just so nice. It wasn't sickeningly sweet and wasn't too decadent. It had the perfect balance of sweetness, which complimented the way the french toast would just melt on your tongue - like seriously. So. Good.
The syrup was really good too and they gave it to me in a separate bottle, which I took home as a type of souvenir - it was too cute!

Overall, Laduree is definitely the place to go to for sweet treats and a spot of tea.
Can't wait try out their savoury food and afternoon tea.
