Fez Mangal

Took a trip to one of my favourite affordable and delicious hot spot in London

Fez Mangal is definitely a gem in the Ladbroke Grove area and is known by almost all the locals for its good food and amazing price tag!
I took my friends to the Turkish restaurant so they can also try the great food here.
The interior is small but homey, with its wooden furniture, brick walls and Turkish music blasting out from the TV.

I ordered my usual Chicken Shish and we ordered a Mixed Meze to share amongst us.
The Mixed Meze says it's for two people, but we couldn't even finish it amongst the three of us!
The Mixed Meze has a great selection, despite only having four varieties of dips. It really does cover everyone's tastes. A great plus is the constant servings of bread!
The chicken is so nice and tender and cooked just right - so it's not dry at all.
Over the years, I can tell that they've reduced portions of rice and substituted the change with more salad i.e. carrots, red cabbage and radish. Nevertheless, the chicken portions are still great.

If you live in London or just in the Ladbroke Grove/ Notting Hill area, it's a must to visit Fez Mangal!
You have to be early though because the restaurant gets very busy during the dinner peak times - so it might end up being a 20-30 minute wait for you to be seated! Make sure you either reserve a table or get there before the dinner rush

Price List:
Chicken Shish - £9.80
Mixed Meze - £6.20
Mint Tea - £1.80

Rating: 5/5
Price Range: ££
Branch: Ladbroke Grove
